Section 3.1 Framework Overview

The learning progressions are organized into five interconnected strands that work together to develop complete data science literacy:
Strand A: Data Dispositions and Responsibility | Strand B: Creation and Curation | Strand C: Analysis and Modeling Techniques | Strand D: Interpreting Problems and Results | Strand E: Visualization and Communication
Each strand progresses from foundational concepts in early elementary through advanced applications in high school, with opportunities for acceleration and depth based on student readiness and interest.
